Reflections of wildflowers in the river n1

Imaginary garden

When I was a child, I could spend 3-4 hours drawing at home after school. When I was a teenager, I got a cellphone and msn on a pc and I could spend 3-4 hours chatting with my friends from school and looking for the perfect, obnoxious, sparkling gif on glittergraphics.com. In my 20’s, my parents installed wi-fi at home, bought me a laptop and I could be on the internet at any time, for whatever reason. Soon after, someone invented streaming websites with hundreds of films and tv shows and I could stay up late at night watching one after the other.

Since 2016, I’ve started filling blank paper sheets with coloured pencils on my free time when there is no wi-fi available. These drawings turned into exercises for concentration and helped to recover my perception of time. One hour on the internet is shorter than one hour spent drawing.
